Author Guidelines

Make sure you have read  the About the Journal page so that you understand the journals policies, procedures and fees.

Formating guidance, including PDF examples and a LaTeX template, are bundled in a ZIP file.

All submissions to the journal require the uploading of a file and may include free-form text in the Comments to the Editor.

The initial submission of any article must be uploaded as a writable PDF, which reviewers may annotate. Subsequent submissions should meet the journal’s formatting guidelines. All articles may be accompanied by digital works such as source code and media files. Editors will advise on the formatting of digital works but such works will not be published unless they accompany an article. All article submissions may include free-form text in the Comments to the Editor.

The editors will consider proposals on any matter, including, but not limited to: the style, content and administration of the journal; the content of special issues of the journal; the content and running of conferences, workshops and publicity events. All proposals must be submitted as a PDF, which need not be writeable, and may include free-form text in the Comments to the Editor.

The editors will consider complaints on any matter. Complainants must register with the journal and upload a PDF, which need not be writeable, setting out their complaint. This may be accompanied by free-form text in the Comments to the Editor. Handling complaints in this way ensures the highest quality of administration and allows complaints to be resolved or escalated, with full record keeping, as is done for the submission of articles. Complaints in any other format will not be considered.

The editors will consider information requests that are brought to their attention by any means. However, the highest administrative quality for handling information requests is achieved when enquirers register with the journal and upload the request as a PDF, which need not be writeable, and which may include free-form text in the Comments to the Editor.
